Educational Subsidy For Those in Need
To enable disadvantaged students to keep studying in school, we support the Go and Love Foundation which has been subsidizing poverty-stricken students in high school and college in the Huaihai District and in Lincang City of Yunnan Province every year so that these students can continue with their education. In addition, we subsidized a dozen more secondary school and college students in Tengchong this year. In Huaihai District, furthermore, we not only subsidize tuition but also look into their spiritual lives, their family situation, and their academic performance.
We do so through face-to-face interviews and evaluations during both the summer and winter vacations. Moreover, we encourage and strengthen their faith through summer camps. After several years, we can see that the children have become more mature, and this awareness is extremely comforting. We hope that someday they will be the light and the salt in their workplaces.
